La Mamola Beach & Promenade Improvements June 2010.

A few pictures showing that the improved sea defence and beach and promenade improvements are still going at full steam !


Jellyfish have been spotted already in early June 2010, on the beach at La Mamola on the Costa Tropical in Souther Spain. The picture shows the result of a sting from last summer. The best cure for a jelly fish sting in apparently vinegar!!

Costa Tropical Motorway Progress

The Costa Tropical stretch of the new A7/E15 coastal motorway is well underway, as can be seen from the photographs taken in November 2009. The two new tunnels sitting between La Mamola and Haza de Trigo are now completed, and works is also at a similar stage above Melicena.

Salobrena Town Hall Siege!

A local shepherd turned up in Salobrena town centre with 200 of his goats, and let them loose in front of the town hall. He took this line of action in protest to the town hall putting an embargo on his property, due to the shepherd allegedly building an illegal construction without the necessary permissions.

New Coastal Promenade Linking Motril & Salobreña.
