Los Yesos, Costa Tropical

Los Yesos, located in the municipality of Sorvilan just off the N340 coastal road and nestled between the delightful villages of La Mamola and Melicena has just seen the first phase of its Marine Musuem completed.

Los Yesos ( a secretly unexploited gem on the Costa Tropical coastline) now is going to be firmly on the map for education and places of interest to visit. The first phase of the works included the demolition of the old school house (with pupils now relocated to La Mamola) and the erection of a new structure. Following this the completion of the internal layout of the Museum will take place allowing for a new tourist attraction and educational centre for all the types of Flora and Fauna which form part of the local coastline.
