Thinking of Starting a Business in Spain?
If you are thinking of ways of making money and you need some assistance in setting up a business then you may be able to obtain a grant from the Government in Spain.
There are 2 windows in which to do this, the first is between 1-15 June 2010 and the second is from the 1-30 September 2010.
Grants rang from 5,000 Euros up to around 10,000 Euros and you have to meet any one of the following criteria, for example:
1. Be registered unemployed
2. Be unemployed and under 30 years old
3. Be a woman and unemployed
4. Be unemployed with a physical disability, over 45, or perhaps be an immigrant to Spain
5. Be a woman who has be subject to general violence.
Visit your local town hall to make your application.
You will only however be allowed to be a sole trader/partnership status and you will have to agree to pay social security payments in Spain.
