32,000 Less Unemployed in June 2009
The number of registered unemployment in the office of Services
Public Employment (SPE) declined in June (in conjunction with
May) for the second consecutive month.
The fall was 32,000 people in the last 29 days of the month.
Unemployment is indicative of the SPE. The only report valid for comparisons is the European Survey of Población Activa (EPA) developed by Statistics, however we will have to wait until July 24 to find the exact behavior of the market in 2009. The EPA-total unemployed in the first quarter amounted to 4,010,000 people.
